The precompilated version of PhD-SNP are available for download. The PhD-SNP program need python with python-numpy or python-numeric, blastpgp and formatdb to format the database used in the blast search. After uncopressing the downloaded tar file the setup.py program allows to download the uniref90 database from different sources or to set it manually. The uniref90 (Apr08) database used in the blast search to test PhD-SNP is also available at this web address web address.
