Project Title: New methods to evaluate the impact of single point protein mutation on human health.

In the 2009 the Marie-Curie IOF project Mut2Dis has been granted by the European Union with ~217K Euro for three years to develop new machine learning approaches based on protein structure information to predict the impact of single amino acid polymorphisms. The research proposal presented by Dr. Jairo Rocha (University of Balearic Islands), Dr Russ B. Altman (Stanford University) and Dr Emidio Capriotti has two main phases:
